Engagement

I got engaged to this stud yesterday ...


I am one lucky girl.

He popped the question yesterday up at Snoqualmie Falls on a BEAUTIFULLY sunny Seattle afternoon.

Perfect.

We're getting married on June 6th at my parent's house on Lake Washington with our parents and siblings there.

Small and special and perfect.

    Yay! YAY! YAY! Um, I'm only slightly bummed that this means you'll miss my birthday party, but I think you have a good reason AND I can't tell you how excited I am for you to be married to Jay!     I am so, so, so, so excited! Last night, the kids were all "So, when are they gonna have some kids we can babysit?" I was all, "Well, someday..." Alex said, "Ms. Diederichs will be a really, really good mom." Caleb chimed in, "Yeah, and Mr. Stookey will be silly with his kids."

    Luke came home from school and said "Did you hear the big news?"... He also said "I thought they were just friends." =) I figured with a June wedding day you guys had been planning for awhile, you're going to be busy!! CONGRATULATIONS on the 'Big News'!
