Once Glorious day, Our lives were changedAnd now I don't really have anything else to say.
We were thrilled to hear the news!
We planned for the future and pictured our lives
As three instead of two ...
The greatest Joy of our world thus far
Replaced with hallow grief
Our lives forever altered
By despair beyond belief.
Overwhelmed with sorrow from our Journey
We sought solace by the sea
A dream was lost, A heartache born
A life not meant to be
Fear not my child, we'll meet again
Where the ocean greets the sky
For in my drams, I see us there
Together; you and I.
This roller coaster of emotions is quite a ride.

It's a beautiful poem but I disagree with the part where it says "a life not meant to be." The baby's life was 100% meant to be; he/she was just given a shorter time than most of us. But that life was here and the world rejoiced, if only for a little while.
Your baby was meant to be too. So was mine.
Just my two cents.
I totally agree with you!
I believe that she wrote that poem herself just before they went to Europe.
