Here are a few scripture verses that Mike shared with us today.
You are the light of the world - like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a blanket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the whole house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly father. I loved the scripture verses today also. I actually saved the notes in the bulletin. heh. (just like every week, ofcourse, right?) I also liked the one that wasn't in the notes:
"For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever." Psalm 9:18
